<incom> PHD research on web video + South Africa

After my 2 MA tesises on African cinema (distribution and EU policy) during my studies at universities in Belgium, I'm currently getting a Phd started on web video in relation to video art. The aim is to combine aspects of network theory, filmstudies and visual theory. It interests me to link this to the South-African context, so my question is if anybody has hints on South -African researchers on topics of video art, new media, networks and the internet.
