true, guess I am intrigued by how central Hewlett's role in the 'OER
Movement' has been, however. Have you seen their Feb 2007 report
(basically a history of OER from their point of view)? Their framework
is all about Sen and his philosophy of development as freedom (OER is
then framed in terms of the removal of 'unfreedoms', which for the
foundation includes intellectual property). Do you know more about the
people in charge of OER at the foundation? They are all over the
place, popping up in the various UNESCO initiatives etc, an
info-developmental dynamic of its own... and the folks at
onPhilanthropy love Hewlett because they seem to be among the few who
admit to making all sorts of mistakes in their reports,
