has here been any comment on the positive role of copyright in the South?
in my experience, most particularly with Aboriginal people in Australia
copyright has been used in a positive, open and progressive manner and has
been able to cope with various forms of community control or ownership to
the benifit of artists and communities
sometimes i wonder if the call for a global openness conjures up another
digital divide ....?
