Friends and Colleagues,
NGLS has launched a Call for Comments as a complementary and parallel
process to the Consultations between the Secretary-General’s High-level
Panel on UN System-wide Coherence and Civil Society Organizations that
will take place on 2 July in Geneva.
The Call for Comments will end on *14 July*. The online call is targeted
to members of civil society to provide an opportunity for them to offer
comments and observations on the four themes addressed by the High-level
Panel.
The comments submitted through the NGLS Call for Comments will be
compiled into a document to be presented to the High-level Panel.

Consultation with Civil Society Organizations
This NGLS Call for Comments is intended as a complementary and parallel
process to the Consultations between the Secretary-General’s High-level
Panel on UN System-wide Coherence and Civil Society Organizations that
will take place on 2 July in Geneva. The Call for Comments is ongoing
until 14 July to provide an opportunity for civil society to offer
comments and observations on the four themes addressed by the High-level
Panel.
NGLS is calling for comments that will mirror the structure of the 2
July Consultations with Civil Society Organizations:
Topic I: Improving UN system-wide coherence: opportunities and challenges.
Topic II: Gender: mainstreaming and institutional architecture.
Topic III: Human Rights: coherence, mainstreaming and effectiveness.
Topic IV: Sustainable development : mainstreaming, normative to
operational linkages and institutional issues.
Respond to a specific theme by clicking on the topic number. You can
answer to one or several of the comments, but you will need to comment
individually to each. Click here for background information on the
Consultations.
