<incom> Broadband - "Clearwire" someone ?

The "Clearwire" bunch are opening shop hereabouts (Brussels/Belgium)
with their radio link-up ("pre-WiMAX", kind of larger-area cell
structure) and conditions (speed, price) appear interesting, in
comparison with the fixed-wire DSL/Cable Co's offers.

They promise their (proprietary, leased) modem would feed "through a
RJ 45 connector to a standard Ethernet port", and expressedly state
- hear, hear !  - that it would work with Linux.

According to the "Clearwire" PR blurbs they have earlier set up
local/regional coverage in the USA and even in some West-African
countries.

Anyone on this list who tried ?
