The go-open campaign was indeed one of the best resourced FOSS campaigns
with far reaching effects in _SOUTH AFRICA_. However, this campaign was
restricted to South Africa and that was its greatest weakness. The
campaign had the potential to make a clean sweep across the continent.

The TV series were very good. I liked them. However, these series lacked
an African originality. One of the biggest advantage of FOSS is the
ability to localise. This ability should be extended even to the way we
campaign. Localising the way we campaign will make the ordinary man on
the street readily accept the idea.
