Apparently, or at least according to the editors of Time magazine,
there's no need for ICT4D concerns about connectivity, access, and
content creation and ownership. Especially now that "we" have more
power over the global digital media than the likes of Bill Gates, who
was one of the persons who graced the cover of last year's issue. I
guess that Time magazine isn't widely available in countries like
Afghanistan and Burkino Faso.

pros at their own game, Time's Person of the Year for 2006 is you,"
the magazine's Lev Grossman wrote.
The magazine has put a mirror on the cover of its "Person of the
Year" issue, released on Monday, "because it literally reflects the
idea that you, not us, are transforming the information age," Editor
